Program Summary
The Claire Trevor School of the Arts (CTSA) Artists-in-Residence Program in Studio Art provides participants with opportunities to learn, create, curate, and exhibit in association with one of the premier university Studio Art programs in the country.*
The program has 2 distinct tracks. The first is the nine-month Artist's Track that provides access to visiting artists from CTSA; studio space on the UC Irvine campus; guidance and direction in the creation of art; and a culminating group exhibition in the University Art Gallery (UAG) or CAC Gallery in July/August. The second is the year-long Curatorial Track where participants conceptualize, select works, catalog and install the culminating exhibition. Participants will earn a certificate upon completion of the individualized program.
